1. Digestive System
Mouth, pharynx, trachea, epiglottis, stomach, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, small intestine, large intestine, rectum.
4 phases of digestion.
2. Excretory System 
Lungs, liver, skin, kidneys.
3. Nervous System
2 nervous systems: Central, peripheral.  Brain: cerebellum, brainstem, hypothalamus, cerebrum. Cerebrum: 4 lobes. Neurons. 3 types: motor, inter, and sensor.  Autonomic and somatic nervous systems (“fight or fly”).
4. Skeletal System
Name of the bones.
5. Muscular System
3 types of muscles: skeletal, smooth, cardiac. The difference between each and where do you find them.
6. Integumentary System
Skin.  5 functions, the biggest organ, layers.
7. Circulatory System
The heart, 4 chambers: atriums, ventricles.  Arteries, veins.  Red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets. 
8. Respiratory System
Nose, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, bronchioles, alveoli, diaphragm, rib cage.
10. Reproductive System
Male: Testis, seminiferous tubes, epididymis, vas deference, seminal vesicle, bulbourethral gland, prostate gland, urinary bladder, urethra, penis, rectum. 
         Female: Ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, vagina, urinary bladder, urethra.
Analyze
1. What is the difference between the autonomic and the somatic nervous system? 
2. Which one is the only human body system you can live without? 
3. What is the difference between tarsals and carpals? 
4. What advantages do flowering plants have?
5. Are we more related to plants or to fungi? 
6. What advantages do seeds have?
7. How are protists classified?
8.  What is the difference between chyme and bolus?
9. What happens when you choke while eating?
10. 4 parts of blood.

Check the 4 last posts before this one and both posts after.  There are 2 videos, and 4 articles.  You can investigate, research a little bit more about it if you need (try to google about ROUNDUP and the reason why BEES population is declining).  When you are done, you have to write a paragraph about GMOs, including new information you've learned so far, and your personal opinion about them.  Send it to my mail, with your name on the subject.
